A traditional stick and scraping massage originating from Chinese medicine.

Using special pressure points and stroking techniques, it promotes enhanced blood circulation, stimulates the lymphatic flow, and relieves muscle tension. The Thai Gua Sha Stick is a body massage tool made of soft, rounded wood, designed for use on the abdomen, back, and legs to help relieve pain.

This massage technique is also combined with Deep Strong Sports Massage treatments to prepare and soften particularly tight and dense muscle tissue.

Please note that not all staff members are qualified to perform this treatment. Therefore, it is currently available only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Please note that this treatment cannot be performed in the following cases:

• Blood clotting disorders or use of blood-thinning medication (Warfarin, Aspirin, Heparin)
• Acute skin conditions — eczema, flare-ups of atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, open wounds, or sunburn
• Recent injuries, fractures, or surgical scars (less than 6 months old)
• Acute inflammation or fever — the stimulating treatment may worsen symptoms
• Pregnancy during the first trimester — certain acupressure points may stimulate contractions
• Malignant tumors (active or untreated cancer conditions)
• Severe varicose veins or suspected thrombosis
• Implants directly beneath the skin (breast implants, pacemakers)
• Chronic mobility disorders or extreme sensitivity to pain
• Immediately after meals — please allow at least 2 hours before treatment
